Basic Açaí Bowl Recipe

For the Açaí Bowl you need

  • 200g Frozen Berries of your choice (I used raspberries)
  • 100ml Milk
  • 75g Greek Yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon Acai Powder

Oatmeal and Bananas for the topping

 

Preparation

Simply mix everything together except the ingredients for the topping. Put it in a bowl, decorate with the topping of your choice and the bowl is ready!

This is super tasty and a welcome change from the standard breakfast. I mostly top it with oatmeal and banana because it is nutritious and I usually have it at home.

Tip: Easy Two Ingredient Ice Cream

If you mix a ripe frozen banana, a handful of frozen raspberries and a little water (for the mixing process), you get a delicious sorbet like ice cream. The banana provides the sweetness and the creamy consistency.

Alternatively, frozen berries can be mixed with 100g of Greek yogurt and a little sugar to make tasty ice cream.
