1. Restaurant F-Hoone

This was the first restaurant I visited in Tallinn and I loved it! It is located in the creative center Telliskivi, which alone is worth a visit. Besides the delicious delicious mushroom pierogi at F-Hoone of course.

2. Pub Kompressor

Another great place for foodies is Pub Kompressor, famous for its traditional pancakes. Estonian pancakes are thinner than American pancakes and can be filled sweet or savory. We ordered a couple and shared them, and they were absolutely delicious. Simple, but very tasty. I also really liked the rustic atmosphere there.

3. Balti Jaam Market

Another favorite place of mine is Balti Jaam Market. Here you can find all kinds of curiosities, second-hand stores, and different types of (street) food. I still dream about the bao buns we ate there.

4. III Draakon

III Draakon may be a little touristy, but it’s worth it. It is a medieval-themed restaurant with typical decoration and hearty dishes.

5. Restaurant Rataskaevu 16

Restaurant Rataskaevu 16 is named after the street where it is located and is a cozy restaurant with excellent European cuisine. And in the summer you can enjoy the beautiful terrace.

Café Maiasmokk is one of the oldest cafés in Estlant and dates back to 1864. In the historic atmosphere of the café, you can enjoy fresh cakes, pastries, and delicious coffee.
